#1. Tyreek Scott-Grayson (6'5''-G-1998, played in 2022-23, plays pro in Holland) led his Dutch team ZZ Leiden to a victory over the closely-ranked Groningen (5-3) crushing them 101-72 in the BNXT League last Saturday. He was MVP of the game. Scott-Grayson recorded 33 points (!!!) and grabbed 7 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!) in 33 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. Zorg and Zekerheid Leiden (6-1) is placed fourth in the BNXT League. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Scott-Grayson has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 17.9ppg, 4.3rpg, 3.4apg and 2.4spg in seven games he played so far.
#2. Aaron Carver (6'7''-F-1996, played in 2015-15, plays in Finland) contributed to KTP-Basket's victory against the closely-ranked Lahti (3-6) 89-82 in the Finnish Korisliiga on Wednesday night. He scored 12 points, grabbed 8 boards, handed out 4 passes and blocked 2 shots. KTP Basket Kotka (5-4) is placed sixth in the Korisliiga. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. It's Carver's first season with the team. This year Carver averages 6.9ppg, 9.7rpg and 1.4apg.
#3. Experienced Franklin Hassell (6'9''-C-1988, played in 2007-11, currently in Uruguay), who plays in the Uruguayan LUB could not help Bigua (4-4) to beat Malvin (6-2). Hassell scored 7 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 25 minutes. Bigua was edged90-89 in a derby game by the higher-ranked (#3) Malvin. It was Bigua's third consecutive loss in a row. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. It's Hassell's first season with the team. Hassell has relatively good stats this year 14.4ppg, 8.8rpg and 1.5apg in eight games.
#4. Alfis Pilavios (6'5''-F-1999, played in 2017-18, plays pro in Greece) was not able to help Koroivos in their game against Papagou (4-3) in the Greek Elite League (second division). Pilavios recorded only 4 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Koroivos was edged69-67 on the road by the higher-ranked Papagou (#5). But the season just started, so everything may happen. This year Pilavios averages 4.6ppg and 3.1rpg.
#5. Mekhi Long (6'7''-F-2001, played in 2020-23, plays in Luxembourg) contributed to T71's victory against one of league's weakest teams Mamer (2-6) 94-84 in the Luxembourg LBBL on Saturday night. He scored 7 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in just 14 minutes. T71 Dudelange (6-2) is placed fourth in the LBBL. It's Long's first season with the team. Long has very impressive stats this year 17.1ppg, 9.0rpg, 1.9apg and 1.4spg in eight games.
#6. Trey Porter (6'11''-F-1996, played in 2015-18, currently in Japan) contributed to an easy victory against the 13th-ranked Brave Thunders crushing them 101-71 in the Japanese B1 League in Saturday night's game. Porter scored 11 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished 4 assists. He has relatively good stats this season 10.2ppg, 8.1rpg and 1.3apg.
#7. Tyrone Williams (6'5''-G, played in 2023-24, plays pro in United Kingdom) was not able to secure a victory for Nottingham Hoods in their game against Breakers in the British BCB (second division). He scored 5 points in 18 minutes. His team was crushed by 26 points 81-55. Williams has very impressive stats this year 17.0ppg, 4.2rpg and 5.2apg in five games.
