Look at great performance of Jordan Heath (21 points), Jordan Henderson (13 points), and Siem Uijtendaal (21 points).
#1. Experienced champion Jordan Heath, a 6'10'' forward/center who is 34 years old and graduated from Canisius in 2014, currently plays professionally in Japan. In their recent game, he put on an impressive performance for his team Kyoto Hannaryz, despite ultimately falling short. The 11th-placed Kyoto Hannaryz (18-36) faced the Magic, ranked #8 in the West group, and suffered a narrow 76-75 defeat on the road. Heath, showcasing his skills on the court, emerged as the top scorer of the game with 21 points, along with contributing 5 rebounds and 3 assists in 37 minutes of play. Despite his notable individual performance against Shimane SM, Kyoto Hannaryz couldn't secure the victory. Throughout this season, Heath has maintained solid averages of 9.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.1 blocks per game, with his shot-blocking prowess ranking fourth best in the league. In the 50 games he has played so far, Heath has proven himself as a valuable asset to his team with his consistent contributions on both ends of the court.
#2. Jordan Henderson, a 6'5'' guard who is a 26-year-old Golden Griffins alumni from 2023 and received the MAAC All-Academic Team award that year, currently plays professionally in Mexico. In a recent game, Henderson unfortunately could not help the Rayos de Hermosillo (10-18) secure a victory. Despite his strong performance where he scored 13 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, and provided 5 assists in 30 minutes of play, Hermosillo ended up losing 79-90 to the higher-ranked (#3) Frayles de Guasave. Even though Henderson was the second-best scorer in the game, his efforts were not enough to secure a win for his team. Throughout the season, Henderson has been averaging 9.9 points, 1.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.2 steals per game in 16 appearances.
#3. Dutch player Siem Uijtendaal, a 24-year-old guard standing at 6'6" and a graduate of YSU in 2025, has been making waves in the basketball scene. Despite having played for Canisius between 2020 and 2024, he now showcases his skills as a professional player in Holland. Uijtendaal recently played a pivotal role in Den Helder's unexpected victory over the eighth-ranked Circus Brussels in the BNXT League, with a final score of 90-77 this past Sunday. In an impressive display of talent, Uijtendaal scored 21 points, secured 5 rebounds, and demonstrated his accuracy by making all six of his free throws, all within a 36-minute game time. This remarkable performance is even more noteworthy considering it's his debut season in the professional basketball arena. Den Helder Suns, currently placed 14th in the league with an 11-17 record, has been on a winning streak, with this game marking their third consecutive triumph. Uijtendaal's impact on the court against Brussels cannot be understated, as his 21 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 assist significantly contributed to his team's victory. His stellar performance underscored his prowess as a champion and reinforced his reputation as a standout player. Throughout the season, Uijtendaal has maintained solid statistics, averaging 12.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.2 steals per game over 19 appearances. His consistent contributions further solidify his status as a finalist in the making.
#4. Canadian champion Jasman Sangha, a 27-year-old forward standing at 6'8'' and an alumnus of Golden Griffins from 2025, is currently playing professionally in Portugal. In a recent game, Sangha, despite putting up a strong performance, was unable to help his team, Vitoria SC, secure a win against Vasco da Gama, one of the league's weaker teams. Vitoria SC lost the game 89-96 in Porto. Sangha emerged as the second-best scorer of the match, scoring 19 points, along with contributing 6 rebounds and 3 assists in 29 minutes of play. It is noteworthy that this is Sangha's first season in professional basketball, making his performance even more commendable. As the Regular Season nears its end, with only one more game left to play, the upcoming match holds significant importance for Sangha and his team. Throughout the season, Sangha has maintained relatively good statistics, averaging 12.3 points per game and 4.2 rebounds per game across 20 games. Despite the challenges faced by Vitoria SC, Sangha's consistent performance on the court as a champion has been noteworthy.
#5. Dutch Jacco Fritz, a 25-year-old forward standing at 6'10'' who graduated from Hofstra in 2024, previously played for Canisius between 2019 and 2023 before turning pro in Spain. In his most recent game, he was unable to assist Huesca (13-13) as they were narrowly defeated 91-90 at home by Mataro UE, who were ranked lower at #13 in the East group. Despite the loss, Fritz put on an impressive performance, finishing as the team's second-best scorer with 13 points, along with contributing 5 rebounds and 3 assists in just 22 minutes of play. This season marks Fritz's first with the team, and his overall stats include averaging 9.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game over 24 games in the Regular Season.

Sosa impressed by contributing 8 points in just 15 minutes of play during the game. In another notable performance, he scored 8 points against Manati, leading his team to victory and ultimately earning the title of champion in the match. This season, Sosa has maintained an average of 5.4 points per game across eight games. An interesting fact about Sosa is that he holds dual American and Puerto Rican citizenship, allowing him to compete in Puerto Rico as a domestic player, which has certainly benefited his career.
#7. Australian champion Tana Kopa, a 6'6'' guard who is 23 years old and graduated from Canisius in 2025, showcased his skills while playing professionally in Australia. In a recent game, Kopa was unable to lead Keilor Thunder (2-3) to victory. Despite his strong performance, the 11th-placed Keilor Thunder suffered a tough 102-83 defeat against the higher-ranked (#5) Spectres in the South group at East Burwood. During the game, Kopa displayed his talent by scoring 11 points and pulling down 6 rebounds in 25 minutes of play. He also had a notable performance against Nunawading S, contributing 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists. Despite his impressive efforts, his team fell short in the end.
