#1. Ryland Holt, a 6'6'' guard who graduated from WTAM in 2024 and received the All-LSC Defensive Player of the Year award that same year, currently plays professionally in Hungary. In a recent match, Holt, a champion player, unfortunately could not lead his team, Szolnok (23-3), to victory against Szombathely (19-7) in the Hungarian Nemzeti Bajnoksag I/A. Despite his impressive performance, where he scored 7 points in just 19 minutes of play, Szolnok was defeated 113-82 at home by the lower-ranked Szombathely, who held the sixth position in the Play-Off group. Holt's skills as a finalist were evident in his scoring prowess against tough competition. Throughout this season, he has maintained an average of 5.8 points per game and 2.2 rebounds per game in the 33 games he has participated in so far.
#2. Australian Isaac Ayoubi, a point guard standing at 5'10'' and a proud alum of the Buffaloes class of 2025, showcased his skills while playing professionally in Australia. In the recent match, Ayoubi, despite his remarkable performance, was unable to lead the Rockhampton Rockets (2-5) to victory. The Rockets, currently in tenth place, suffered a tough 112-95 defeat on the road against the ninth-ranked Wizards in the North group. During the game, Ayoubi displayed his talent by scoring 19 points, securing 6 rebounds, and providing 6 assists in a total of 33 minutes of play. This impressive performance is particularly noteworthy as it is Ayoubi's debut season in professional basketball. Despite his individual success against the Northside Wizards, his team was unable to secure the win. Throughout the season, Ayoubi has maintained solid statistics, averaging 14.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 1.4 steals per game in the seven games he has participated in so far. His consistent contributions on the court demonstrate his potential to become a future champion in the league.
#3. Nikolaos Stylianou, a seasoned Greek player standing at 6'6'' and 37 years old, who graduated from WTAM in 2009 and currently plays professionally in Cyprus, showcased his skills on the court. Despite his best efforts, Stylianou, a key player for Keravnos, was unable to lead his team to victory against AEK Larnaca in the Cypriot ECOMMBX Basket League. In a closely contested match, Keravnos fell short with a final score of 64-68 in favor of AEK Larnaca. Even though Stylianou managed to contribute 6 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist during his 21 minutes of play, AEK Larnaca emerged triumphant. This marked Stylianou's seventh season with the Keravnos team, where he has been a consistent performer. Throughout this season, Stylianou has maintained an average of 7.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game across 25 games. His impressive performance against AEK Larnaca highlights his valuable presence on the court, showcasing his versatility and dedication to the game. It is noteworthy that Stylianou holds dual American and Greek citizenship, allowing him the flexibility to play as a domestic player in Greece as well.
#4. Australian Harrison Evans, a 7'0'' center and 21-year-old alumnus of Buffaloes from 2025, currently playing professionally in Australia, made a significant impact in the recent NBL One game. Despite scoring only 2 points in 7 minutes on the court, Evans played a crucial role in helping the Hornsby Ku-ring-Gai Spiders secure a narrow 109-108 victory over the fifth-ranked Canberra Gunners (8-3). The Hornsby Ku-ring-Gai Spiders, with a current record of 3-9, hold the 13th position in the East group. Evans, with his 2 points and 3 rebounds against the Canberra Gunners, proved to be instrumental in his team's triumph, ultimately leading them to be crowned as the champion of the game. Throughout this season, Evans has been averaging 4.4 points per game and 2.6 rebounds per game across the 10 games he has played so far. His consistent contributions on the court have been vital in the team's success, solidifying his position as a key player for the Hornsby Ku-ring-Gai Spiders.
