Every week we bring you a list of the top former Demon Deacons players who continue their career in pro basketball.

#1. Experienced champion Dearica Hamby, a 6'3'' forward who is 32 years old and graduated from Wake Forest in 2015 with an All-ACC First Team award, currently plays professionally in the WNBA. In a recent game, she led the Los Angeles Sparks to a thrilling 99-95 victory over the Toronto Tempo, recording an impressive stat line of 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists in just 32 minutes on the court. Despite the Los Angeles Sparks having a somewhat lackluster 1-2 record this season, it is still early in the season, and there is plenty of time for the team to improve. Hamby's exceptional performance against Toronto showcased her basketball prowess, with her scoring, rebounding, and playmaking abilities all on full display. Her contributions were crucial in securing the victory for her team, solidifying her status as the champion of the game. Individually, Hamby has been having a stellar season so far, averaging 15.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game in the three games she has played. With her impressive skill set and consistent performance, Hamby continues to be a key player for the Los Angeles Sparks as they strive for success in the WNBA.

#2. Kaia Harrison, a 24-year-old guard standing at 5'8'' and an alumna of Demon Deacons from 2024, currently playing professionally in Mexico, unfortunately could not lead the Santas to victory in their recent game. Despite her solid performance, the Santas suffered a defeat of 81-92 at home against the higher-ranked (#4) El Calor team. Harrison managed to contribute 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists in 38 minutes of play, showcasing her skills on the court. This game marked the first loss for the Santas after a successful streak of three consecutive victories. The champion displayed an impressive performance, scoring 11 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, and dishing out 4 assists against the tough opponent, El Calor. However, despite her remarkable efforts, the team fell short of securing the win in the match. Throughout the season, Harrison has maintained relatively strong statistics, averaging 11.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.8 steals per game in the 19 games she has played so far. Her consistent contributions highlight her importance to the team and her abilities as a key player for the Santas.

#3. Australian basketball player Alexandra Sharp, a 29-year-old standing at 6'1'' and playing as a forward/guard, showcased her exceptional skills in a recent game. A graduate of Wake Forest in 2020, she received the ACC All-Academic Team award that year. Currently playing professionally in Australia, Sharp led the Diamond Valley Eagles to a remarkable 99-85 victory against the 19th-ranked Hawks (1-9) in the Australian NBL One North, the second division of the league, last Saturday. During the game, Sharp demonstrated her versatility by achieving a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds, while also contributing 9 assists in 33 minutes of play. Her impressive performance was instrumental in guiding the Diamond Valley Eagles to their third consecutive victory, positioning them third in the South group standings with a 7-3 record. Against Ringwood H., Sharp's remarkable display of skill was evident as she scored 11 points, secured 10 rebounds, and facilitated 9 assists, further solidifying her reputation as a standout player. Her impactful contributions were pivotal in leading her team to emerge as the champion of the game. Throughout the season, Sharp has maintained solid statistics with an average of 14.9 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.3 steals per game in nine appearances, underscoring her value as a key player for the Diamond Valley Eagles.
