#1. In the recent game, the 25-year-old guard Damian Dunn, standing at 6'5'' and a graduate of Pittsburgh in 2025, showcased his skills for Hapoel Altshuler Shaham Beer Sheva. Despite his commendable performance, Dunn could not prevent H.Be'er Sheva from losing 79-83 to the lower-ranked E. Netanya on the road. Dunn's contribution was notable as he scored 14 points in 28 minutes of play, demonstrating his potential in his debut season in professional basketball. With only two games remaining in the Regular Season, each match becomes crucial for the team's standing. Dunn, who is in his first year with the team, has been consistent throughout the season, averaging 13.0 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game over the 14 games he has played so far. Despite the loss against E. Netanya, Dunn's performance was noteworthy, with 14 points, 1 rebound, and 2 assists to his name. As the season progresses, Dunn's skills and contributions will be vital as H.Be'er Sheva aims to improve their standing and make a mark in the league.
#2. Jared Wilson-Frame, a 6'5'' shooting guard and Panthers alumni from 2019, showcased his skills in the recent game for Pioneros de Los Mochis despite their 94-100 loss to the Frayles de Guasave. Wilson-Frame, who currently plays professionally in Mexico, contributed significantly to his team's effort, finishing as the second-best scorer with 16 points in 35 minutes of play. Despite his impressive performance, including scoring 16 points, grabbing 3 rebounds, and dishing out 2 assists against the tough opponent Frayles de Guasave, Pioneros de Los Mochis suffered their third consecutive defeat. Wilson-Frame's individual performance has been outstanding throughout the season, averaging 17.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game in 44 games. Even though Pioneros de Los Mochis couldn't secure the win in the last game, Wilson-Frame's consistent contributions and strong stats exemplify his value as a key player for the team.
#3. Michael Young, a 6'9'' power forward aged 31, who graduated from Pittsburgh in 2017 and received the All-ACC Third Team award that year, is currently playing professionally in Bosnia. In a recent match, he played a pivotal role in KK Bosna Meridianbet Sarajevo's dominant 88-45 victory over the third-ranked OKK Sloboda Tuzla, scoring 15 points and securing 4 rebounds in just 16 minutes of play. This game, which featured two of the top 3 teams in group x, showcased Young's impact as a key player on the team, ultimately leading them to success. Despite being in his first season with the team, Young's remarkable performance highlights his abilities as a finalist player. So far this season, he has been averaging 8.7 points per game and 4.3 rebounds per game across three matches.
#4. Experienced champion Lamar Patterson, a 6'5'' guard/forward who is 34 years old and an alumnus of the Panthers from 2014, currently plays professionally in Australia. In a recent game, despite Patterson's strong performance, the Ipswich Force, who are currently ranked eighth with a 3-4 record, suffered a tough loss to the third-ranked Phoenix in the North group, with a final score of 123-88 at Cotton Tree. Patterson was the second-highest scorer for Ipswich Force, contributing 13 points in just 18 minutes of play. His impressive performance included not only scoring but also grabbing 1 rebound against the Phoenix team. Although Patterson showcased his skills on the court, his team was unable to secure a victory in this matchup. Individually, Patterson has been having a standout year with impressive statistics. He is averaging 17.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.3 steals per game across four games, demonstrating his valuable contributions to the team despite the recent loss.
#5. Au'Diese Toney, a 6'6'' guard who is 26 years old, recently graduated from Arkansas in 2022. He previously played basketball in Pittsburgh from 2018 to 2021 before making the move to the professional league in Canada. Despite his skills and efforts, Toney was unable to lead the Edmonton Stingers to victory against the River Lions in the Canadian Elite Basketball League, where he currently competes. In the recent game against the River Lions, Toney contributed 9 points in 24 minutes of play. Unfortunately, the Edmonton Stingers, ranked #3, narrowly lost to the River Lions with a score of 101-99 in Niagara. Despite the setback, it is still early in the season, and there is potential for the team to turn things around in the upcoming games. Toney showcased his abilities in the game against the River Lions by recording 9 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist. His individual performance was commendable, but it was not enough to secure the victory for his team. So far this season, Toney has been averaging 9.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game over four games, displaying his consistency and contribution to the team.
