#1. Experienced Maren Hoff Austgulen (6'0''-F-1991, played in 2011-15, plays pro in Norway) contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Bergen (0-4) crushing them 71-47 in a derby game in the Norwegian Kvinneligaen in Saturday night's game. She scored 9 points and blocked 3 blocks in 19 minutes. Ulriken Eagles Bergen (6-0) is placed first in the Kvinneligaen. So far her team won all six games in the Regular Season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Austgulen's tenth year with the team. This season Austgulen averages 9.5ppg, 4.0rpg, 1.3apg and 1.8spg in four games she played so far.
#2. Hope Butera (6'3''-F-2001, played in 2023-24, plays in Spain) managed to help CAB Estepona Jardin de la Costa del Sol to win against the league outsider Lima-Horta (0-7) 82-64 in the Spanish LF Challenge (second division) last Sunday. She recorded only one point and grabbed 7 rebounds. CAB Estepona Jardin de la Costa del Sol (5-1) is placed third in the LF Challenge. It was Estepona's fourth consecutive victory in a row. But the season just started, so everything may happen. This year Butera averages 1.8ppg and 4.8rpg.
