#1. Experienced Donta Smith (6'7''-SF-83, graduated '04, plays pro in Israel) was the major contributor in a 1-point Maccabi Haifa's victory against the third-ranked Galil Gilboa (7-3) 78-77 in the Israeli Winner League on Tuesday night. He scored 13 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 8 assists in 35 minutes. Maccabi Haifa (3-5) is placed eighth in the Winner League. Smith has relatively good stats this season 13.5ppg, 5.6rpg, 5.5apg and 1.7spg. He is a naturalized Venezuelan.
#2. Gianni Otto (6'1''-PG-95, played in 2014-16, plays in Germany) managed to help Tigers Tuebingen in a victory against the closely-ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (7-4) 101-93 in the German ProA (second division) in Saturday night's game. He scored only 3 points and added 5 assists. Tigers Tuebingen (1-2) is placed fourth in the ProA. It's Otto's first season with the team. This year Otto averages 4.1ppg, 1.2rpg and 2.8apg in 13 games he played so far.
#3. Demetrius Levarity (6'7''-F-96, played in 2014-16, currently in Armenia) led Dvin to a victory over the closely-ranked Mad Foxes (19-8) 97-79 in the Armenian League A last Thursday. He was MVP of the game. Levarity recorded a double-double by scoring 26 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 5 assists and 3 blocks in 39 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Levarity's second season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. BC Dvin (18-10) is placed third in the League A. It was his team's tenth consecutive victory in a row. The Regular Season already ended. It's Levarity's first year with the team. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Levarity averages 22.8ppg, 10.9rpg, 2.7apg and 1.4spg.
#4. Montrell Little (6'8''-G/F-96, played in 2014-16, plays pro in Armenia) was the main contributor in a Mad Foxes' victory against the sixth-ranked Erebuni (11-17) crushing them 98-78 in a derby game in the Armenian League A on Sunday night. He was MVP of the game. Little scored 26 points (!!!) and grabbed 8 rebounds; not bad, considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. Mad Foxes Yerevan (19-8) is placed second in the League A. The Regular Season already ended. It's Little's first year with the team. Little has very impressive stats this season 19.7ppg, 8.0rpg and 2.2apg in 22 games. Little is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.
