#1. Experienced Australian basketball player Nick Kay, who stands at 6'9'' and plays as a power forward, is 33 years old and graduated from MSU Denver in 2015. During his time at MSU Denver, he played a crucial role in helping them secure the RMAC Regular Season Co-Champion title in that year. Currently, he is playing professionally in Japan and is a key player for the Shimane Susanoo Magic team. In a recent game, Kay led Shimane Susanoo Magic to a thrilling 104-102 victory over the sixth-ranked Dragonflies. His outstanding performance on the court earned him the MVP title for the game. Kay showcased his skills by recording a double-double with 24 points and 11 rebounds, along with contributing 3 assists during the 36 minutes he played. Shimane Susanoo Magic is currently placed eighth in the West group, with a record of 25-29. His contributions both offensively and defensively have been instrumental in the team's success, further solidifying his reputation as a top-tier finalist in the league.
#2. Brandon Jefferson, a 5'9'' point guard and 34-year-old alumnus of the Roadrunners from 2014, currently plays professionally in Greece. Recently, he led Karditsas to a decisive 95-79 victory over the closely-ranked Promitheas in the Greek Stoiximan Basketball League. Jefferson's stellar performance earned him the MVP title of the game, as he contributed 22 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists in just 27 minutes of play. As the season progresses, Jefferson's team, AS Karditsa Iaponiki, currently placed 11th in the league, has only one more game left in the Regular Season, and it holds significant importance for their standing. Jefferson's exceptional year is highlighted by his impressive averages of 15.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game across 23 games. His outstanding display against Promitheas was crucial in helping his team secure the victory and emerge as the champion of the game. #3. Mario Lacy Jr., a 6'8'' forward who graduated from MSU Denver in 2024, currently plays professionally in Serbia. Despite his efforts, he could not lead his team, Zlatibor, to victory against Borac ZM in the Serbian Meridianbet Kosarkaska lige Srbije. In the game, Lacy Jr. managed to score 4 points, grab 6 rebounds, and dish out 4 assists in just 14 minutes of play. The league-leading team, Zlatibor, suffered a 72-76 defeat on the road against the lower-ranked Borac ZM, marking their first loss after a streak of six consecutive wins. #4. Brayden Carter, a 6'9'' forward and Roadrunners alumnus from 2025, has been making waves in the professional basketball scene in Portugal. Despite his remarkable performance for Galitos-Barreiro in their recent game against the formidable Ovarense, the team fell short by just one point, with the final score being 83-82 in favor of Ovarense. Carter, who received the All-RMAC First Team award in 2025, showcased his talent by scoring 24 points and grabbing 5 rebounds in the game, demonstrating his prowess on the court. It is noteworthy that this is only his first season in professional basketball, making his performance even more impressive. With this loss, Galitos-Barreiro, currently at a 5-16 record, suffered their third consecutive defeat. As they approach the final game of the Regular Season, the pressure is mounting for Carter and his team. Despite the challenging circumstances, Carter has been a standout player throughout the season, boasting impressive statistics with an average of 20.6 points per game (the second best in the league) and 8.0 rebounds per game (also the second best in the league), along with 1.9 assists per game and 1.2 steals per game in 21 games. As a finalist in the league, Carter's individual performance has been exceptional, and he continues to be a key player for Galitos-Barreiro as they gear up for their crucial upcoming game.
#5. Caleb McGill, a standout 6'8'' forward who graduated from MSU Denver in 2025 and earned the prestigious All-RMAC First Team award that year, currently showcases his talent playing professionally in Sweden. In a recent game, McGill, playing for BC Lulea, unfortunately could not lead his team to victory as they suffered a tough 106-89 defeat on the road against the second-ranked Norrkoping. Despite the challenging outcome, McGill displayed his skills by contributing 13 points, 1 rebound, and 1 assist in just 19 minutes of play against Norrkoping. His performance highlighted his versatility and impact on the court. Throughout the season, McGill has maintained solid statistics, averaging 11.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.1 steals per game across 28 appearances. McGill's consistent contributions and impressive play demonstrate why he is considered a promising champion in the making.

Australian champion Mitchell McCarron, a 6'3'' guard and 33-year-old Roadrunners alumnus from 2015, who received the All-RMAC Player of the Year award that year, currently plays professionally in Australia. Recently, he played a crucial role in the Eltham Wildcats' victory over the seventh-ranked Blues with a score of 95-81 in the Australian NBL One (second division) last Wednesday. During the game, McCarron showcased his skills by contributing 8 points, grabbing 4 rebounds, and dishing out 9 assists in 28 minutes of play.
