We bring you last week's top former Golden Flashes players who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Jordan Korinek (6'3''-F/C-96, graduated '18, plays pro in Greece) led Panionios to a victory over one of league's weakest teams Sporting (2-5) 66-53 in a derby game in the Greek A1 in Sunday night's game. She was MVP of the game. Korinek recorded 15 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 35 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only her first season in pro basketball. Panionios GSS Athens (5-2) is placed third in the A1. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Korinek has relatively good stats this year 13.4ppg, 8.0rpg, 1.4apg and 1.3spg in seven games she played so far.
#2. Experienced Andrea Hajdune (6'5''-C-82, graduated '04, plays in Switzerland) was the major contributor in a BBC Les Portes du Soleil Troistorrents' victory against the closely-ranked Geneve Basket (5-4) 65-54 in the Swiss SBL last Friday. Hajdune recorded 12 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. BBC Les Portes du Soleil Troistorrents (5-4) are placed third in the SBL. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Hajdune's fourth season with the team. She has relatively good stats this year 11.8ppg, 7.4rpg and 1.3apg.
#3. Keziah-Brittany Lewis (5'10''-G-95, graduated '17, currently in United Kingdom) managed to help Newcastle Eagles in a victory against the closely-ranked Archers (3-4) crushing them 82-49 in the British WBBL on Saturday night. Lewis recorded 5 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 22 minutes. Newcastle Eagles (7-5) is placed fourth in the WBBL. It's Lewis' first season with the team. This year she averages 2.5ppg, 2.6rpg and 1.1apg in eight games. Lewis has also Cook Islander nationality.
