Every week we bring you a list of the top former Lions players who continue their career in pro basketball.

#1. DeMarcus Demonia, a 6'7'' guard/forward aged 26, graduated from ETAMU in 2023 and received the All-Southland Conference Second Team award that year. Currently playing professionally in Germany, he showcased his skills by leading Bamberg Baskets to a resounding 89-62 victory over the 12th-ranked Chemnitz in the German easyCredit BBL. In this game, Demonia's outstanding performance earned him the MVP title, as he contributed 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists in just 14 minutes on the court. Demonia's impact was pivotal in securing his team's fourth consecutive win, positioning Bamberg Baskets at third place in the league with a record of 21-10. With only three games remaining in the Regular Season, each match becomes crucial for the team's standings. Despite this being Demonia's first season with Bamberg Baskets, he has been instrumental in their success, averaging 13.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game across the 31 games he has played thus far. It is worth noting that Demonia previously participated in the Eurobasket Summer League, which is highly regarded as a premier international summer league in the basketball market. His skills and contributions as a player continue to elevate his status as a champion both on the court and in the eyes of his fans and peers.

In a recent game, Lewis, despite his best efforts, could not lead his team, Madzari (14-13), to victory against the formidable MZT Skopje (22-5) in the North Macedonian Super League. Even though he managed to score 9 points, dish out 3 assists, and play for 18 minutes, Madzari ended up losing 81-94 to MZT Skopje at home in the Places 1-6 group. With only two games remaining in the Second Stage, every match is crucial for the teams. Lewis showcased an impressive performance in the game against MZT Skopje, contributing 9 points, 1 rebound, and 3 assists. Despite his standout individual performance, Madzari couldn't secure the win against the current league leaders. Throughout the season, Lewis has been having a strong year individually, boasting high statistics. He holds averages of 15.5 points per game, 3.6 rebounds per game, 3.3 assists per game, and 1.9 steals per game (the second-best in the league) in the 15 games he has played so far.
