#1. Tavis Smith (6'3''-G-1999, played in 2016-20, plays in Georgia) led GAU to a victory against the closely-ranked Batumi (4-4) 85-76 in the Georgian Superleague last Sunday. Smith scored 11 points. It was his first game for GAU this season. His team is placed third in the Superleague. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.
#2. Lucas Saleh (6'7''-G/F-2000, graduated '2023, currently in Lebanon), who plays in the Lebanese LBL could not help Champville (4-3) to beat Sagesse (7-0). It was not his best game last Wednesday. Saleh recorded only 2 points in 13 minutes. Champville was edged73-71 on the road by the leading Sagesse. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. This year Saleh averages 4.0ppg and 2.6rpg in seven games he played so far.
#3. Gunnar Hardarson (6'0''-SG-1996, played in 2016-17, plays pro in Iceland) contributed to KR's victory against the seventh-ranked IA (4-6) 84-77 in the Icelandic D1 (second division) in Friday night's game. Hardarson recorded 6 points and added 4 passes. KR Reykjavik (6-3) is placed third in the D1. This season Hardarson averages 6.5ppg, 2.1rpg and 1.8apg.
#4. De'Quan Abrom (6'2''-SG-1996, played in 2017-20, plays in Malaysia) led NS Matrix to a victory over one of league's weakest teams KL Aseel (1-6) 96-89 in the Malaysian MBL last Sunday. He was MVP of the game. Abrom scored 31 points (!!!) and grabbed 6 rebounds in 40 minutes. Negeri Sembilan Matrix (5-0) is placed first in the MBL. So far his team won all five games in the Regular Season. It's Abrom's first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Abrom averages 19.0ppg, 6.3rpg, 3.8apg and 2.5spg in eight games.
