#1. Dennis Flowers III (6'2''-G-2001, played in 2021-24, plays pro in Belize) led Western Ballaz to a victory over the league outsider City Kings (0-2) 80-70 in the Belizean BEBL in Friday night's game. Flowers III was MVP of the game. He scored 28 points (!!!) and grabbed 8 rebounds in 33 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Flowers III's first season in pro basketball. Western Ballaz (2-1) is placed second in the BEBL. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Flowers III has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 23.3ppg, 6.3rpg, 1.3apg and 1.7spg in three games he played so far. Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.
#2. Arik Nicholas (6'5''-F, played in 2024-25, plays in Belize) is a teammate of previously mentioned Dennis Flowers III and both played together in the last Belizean BEBL game. Nicholas was the major contributor in a Western Ballaz's victory against the league outsider City Kings (0-2) 80-70. He scored 25 points and grabbed 7 rebounds (was perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line); not bad, considering it's only Nicholas' first season in pro basketball. This year Nicholas has very high stats. He averages 18.3ppg and 7.0rpg.
#3. Sharif Watson (6'6''-F-1993, played in 2014-16, currently in Australia), who plays in the Australian NBL One (second division) could not help East Perth Eagles (7-3) to beat Redbacks (9-3). Watson recorded 5 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 20 minutes. The fourth-placed East Perth Eagles (7-3) lost 88-100 on the road to the higher-ranked (#3) Redbacks in the West group. It's Watson's first season with the team. This year he averages 5.8ppg, 5.0rpg and 1.5apg in eight games.
#4. Anthony Howell (6'7''-F, played in 2023-25, plays pro in Belize) is a teammate of previously mentioned Dennis Flowers III. He played also in the last Belizean BEBL game facing Arik Nicholas (above) in the other team. Howell contributed to a Western Ballaz's victory against the league outsider City Kings (0-2) 80-70. He scored 6 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. This season Howell averages 8.7ppg, 5.7rpg and 2.3apg.
